Welcome to the Mom University site where we will talk about all the things ....that no one talks about! 

That's right! I've spent seven years going to networking meetings several times a week - I've listened to all the educators, taken all the workshops, and met so many real estate investors. The world's best coaches have taught. The local pros have shared. But there are STILL gaps in the information. 

Case in point: A presentation about flipping houses taught all about how to look for a 'good' property.....but taught nothing about how to run a business, how to get funding, how to problem solve, and so on. They basically used the stage as their own personal lead magnet. Nothing about sales or how to buy from a distressed seller or how to get approval for business loans or even how to setup a business. 

I'm here to say "hocka-paloo-ee".  (My slang for "That's nonsense!") 

This site is in the works and all content will come directly from Active Investors. We will teach what we do in our own real estate investing business.....so you can know how to run your own real estate business. 

We will focus mostly on the type of investing that we have already done. Educators are best when they teach from experience, right? This will include everything for single family properties (also labeled SFH in real estate slang). That means buying houses to create income, negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, distressed properties from auctions, building an LLC that can qualify to borrow money, investment strategy such as rental properties, fix and flip, or long-term appreciation, as well as airbnbs (which we call Short Term Rentals or STR), book keeping for a side hustle, what to expect in taxes, tenants from insurance agents (which the slang word is Midterm Rentals), property management, marketing strategies to attract potential tenants or buyers....so many things, oh and maximizing profitability.
